Reach. Reputation. Revenue.
Three BIG reasons to invest in professional website photography.
Whenever you’re selling anything, no matter what industry, your website is the first chance you have to impress potential customers.
It’ll make or break your opportunity to reel in new customers – hook, line and sinker.
A great-looking website means you’ll reach more people and you’ll make more money.
Imagine this scenario:
You’ve got a great product and the potential to snag a huge market share in your industry.
But you don’t invest in great photography for your website.
You invest big bucks into an ad campaign, and people flock to your website in droves.
But nothing happens.
They see the shoddy photos on your website, they can’t picture using your product, and they don’t think highly of your company – they can’t trust you.
So they move onto the next company and you lose sale after sale.
This doesn’t have to be your story – if you invest in professional website photography.
Take a look at some of the websites below and ask yourself these questions:
The real, live images of Mel in this image make the user feel as if you’re at this event, experiencing all of the energy and excitement that one of Mel’s keynote speeches have to offer.
The professional photography in the first section of the website, and everywhere below it, lets users instantly see the high quality and aesthetic of Bonobos’ men’s clothing.
In the 23andMe website, the professional website photography offers the picture of a highly reputable company helping a wide variety of people discover their ancestry or health predispositions.
You can tell right away that this website’s photography is NOT professional. Using stock images makes the company seem distant and impersonal.
The fact that the first thing users will see when they land on this page is a stock photo of a close up of a keyboard does nothing to help users get to know who “The Write Paige” is or trust the company to handle their communications challenges.
Comparing the websites with professional photos to the ones with stock photography makes it easy to see who the winners are, right?
Hands down, professional website photography is a win-win situation.
