Get To Know The Flight Media Team: Josh Coffy

Josh Coffy is the man behind our mission.

He’s the founder of Flight Media, the Big Cheese and the leader of our team.

And what a team it is! We have a Canadian, two Montenegrins and five Americans. And a canine – also from America.

Bulldog typing on keyboard, just pee on the car's tire, Johnson, do I have to do everything myself

We enjoy getting to know our clients and we want you to get to know us better, too.

Josh agreed to answer some very important, hard-hitting questions. (Okay, they’re not that hard-hitting but they are fun!)

(If you’re an Enneagram-er, he’s a 3, like big time.)

Watch the video and keep reading afterwards for more of Josh.

Question And Answer Time

  1. If you had to be shipwrecked on a deserted island, but all your human needs were taken care of, what two items would you want to have with you?

Answer: “Definitely a book. Probably Profit First because I’m obsessed with that book. And I’ll also go with an ENO hammock because hammocking is super easy, it’s lightweight and it’s really comfy.”

  1. What would the name of your debut album be?

Answer: “‘Rise and Grind.’ I wake up at 5 am every day and I also grind hard and I grind a lot of coffee.”

  1. Rate yourself on a scale of 1 to 10 how weird you are. 1 being not weird at all and 10 being the weirdest weirdo.

Answer: “I don’t think I’m super weird. I’m super logical, but sometimes it can come off as weird, so I’m gonna go with a four on the weirdness scale. A soft 4. I’m not as weird as some other people on our team.” (Shade thrown. 😂)

  1. If you died, what would you want your eulogy to say about you?

Answer: “I would want it to be a series of quotes that I say all the time from my favorite movies. So it would probably be a ton of quotes from The Office , Arrested Development and Parks and Rec.”

  1. What were you like in high school?

Answer: “The first half of high school I was homeschooled and I just played video games the whole time, played a whole lot of music and didn’t do a whole lot. The second half was when I came out of that phase and my Justin Bieber hair was no longer there and I kind of matured. Then I became super nerdy about finance and business. I was in the popular crowd, but I hung out with people in different areas and cliques. I was the funny guy, though, I do know that. Fun Fact: For Senior Superlatives, I won ‘Best Personality.’”

  1. What was the last thing you watched on TV?

Answer: “The Walking Dead. But usually, The Office. And we just restarted Lost.”

  1. If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would play you?

Answer: “Hugh Jackman because he’s the toughest, but he’s the best. He just seems like an all-around nice guy and he has a great personality. Plus, he started with Broadway stuff and I love Broadway stuff.”

  1. Superman or Batman – who wins in a fight?

Answer: “Superman because Batman just has gadgets but Superman has powers. There’s a big difference. BUT, if I put both of them against Iron Man, even though it’s not superpowers, they would both lose.”

  1. If you could trade places with any person – famous, not famous, living, dead, fictional, or real – who would it be?

Answer: “Dwayne Johnson because that dude is my hero. I love watching him and following him on Instagram. He seems like a cool guy with a super cool life and he always has his Iron Paradise gym that travels with him wherever he goes. He doesn’t have to go to gyms, he has them bring it in a huge tent they just lay it out and he has his own personal gym every day.”

  1. On a scale of 1 to 10, how good of an interviewer am I? 1 - The worst, 10 - This is the best interview of my life.

Answer: “6.8.” (The interviewer WASN’T emotionally crushed by this answer. 😏😂)

  1. What’s your favorite thing about what you do at Flight Media?

Answer: “Working with our team, being able to collaborate on projects. And I love that everything is changing. I worked at Wendy’s and Champs and Foot Locker when I was younger and it was the same thing over and over again. It never changed. Burgers, fries, shakes, burgers, fries, etc. But this is always changing. The clients, the strategy, the stuff we do as a team, it’s always different. I like the adaptive environment.”

It’s easy to see that Josh is passionate about what he does – for our team and for our clients.
